Chattanooga: Bowman resigns from nuclear group

Chattanooga native Frank L. “Skip” Bowman has resigned as president of the Nuclear Energy Institute, the Washington D.C.-based lobbying group for the nuclear power industry.

Mr. Bowman headed the NEI for more than four years after retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2004 as a four-star admiral and director of naval reactors.

He and his wife, Linda, are both graduates of Chattanooga High School.
