Georgia Southern leads UTC 31-14 at halftime

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga offense found some momentum in the second quarter, but Georgia Southern extended its lead to 31-14 at halftime.

UTC has gained 188 yards, but the Mocs also has two turnovers which resulted in GSU touchdowns.

The Eagles’ 17-point lead came when Larry Beard hit quarterback Jare Gault’s arm as he attempted to pass out of the endzone, and defensive end Damon Suggs snatched the pass out of the air.
