I didn't know if the culprits were black, white or purple. Nor does it make any difference. Violent criminal actions require swift and decisive punishments. Umm... Excuse me but the young men, yes, should have recieved punishment but death is not the correct punishment for breaking into someones house. Also they are not sociopaths u dumb........... anyways, "thuggery"??? Ike Robinson was no thug if you would pay attention to the news and newspaper. People break into peoples houses all the time. Mine especially. Do I reach for my nine millimeter and start shooting? Of course not. If the dead man and his friends had thought about right and wrong and made the correct choice Ike would be alive, his compatriot not wounded and subject to homicide charges. That's provided the DA takes the correct action and charges the wounded fellow and anyone else involved with the home invasion. Whether or not the DA does so will reflect on his willingness to do the right thing, not the political thing.

This was not teenagers shoplifting, rolling someone's yard, or exploding mailboxes with cherry bombs.

These are thugs committing a violent act who got what they deserved. Two are still alive and should have plenty of time in prison to think about it.

My concern is with the victims of crime — not the perpetrators.

It's time to take back our schools, streets and city from those who have waived the white flag of surrender under the misguided notions of political correctness and relativism.

Where's Charles Bronson? We need him in Chattanooga and Hamilton County. Actually we need many Bronsons and citizens who will no longer tolerate such sociopaths and violent criminals. Okay so Mr. Statel it seems that you know a whole lot about Ike. Did you know he has a sister? Did you know he was a sophmore at central high school? I seriously doubt it.
Tell me how he ran nearly 5 miles from Ooltewah to Brainerd with one gunshot to the head,two to the chest, another in the gut, and a final in the head. I highly doubt that is possible.
Ike was a good kid. I personally knew him and went to school with him. He was on the football team and a friend to many of the students and teachers there. Also Ike was much more intelligent than you give him credit for. He was only sixteen not a man just a teenager. You and other ignorant people are the reason for the outrageous allegations against him. Next time you want to point a finger, learn up on the accused.
And try to stay on subject. The young woman above's grammar has nothing to do with this topic, nor is it even remotely related to how much she knows about this incedent.

First off Mr. Statel you did not know my cousin. I've been around him all my life and yes he did make some mistakes but he was only sixteen. Let me guess when you were 16 you were a little angel who did everything right. No, I doubt it...You just never got caught. How do you kno it was for sure a robbery? Because the news said so? Well before when there was no witnesses or evidence they said it was a drug deal so maybe this time they got it right. Even though there was no gun or masks found.
