White joins dentistry practice

Dr. Bradley W. White has joined Drs. Charles M. Hooper Jr. and Charles M. Hooper III at East Brainerd Family Dentistry. The practice is located at 1890 East Brainerd Road.

Dr. White is a graduate of Harding University and also has a degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He earned his doctorate of dental surgery degree with honors at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

He returns to Chattanooga with his wife, Ashley, and daughter, Lydia.

Pointe adds Holloway to staff

Heather Holloway has joined Pointe Development Cos. as marketing coordinator for The Pointe Corporate Centre, Pointe General Contractors and other properties under the umbrella of Commercial Management Corp.

“We are pleased to have Heather join our team to fill the position at the helm of our branding efforts,” said Rex Allen, chief executive of the real estate development company.

Ms. Holloway’s experience includes 13 years in the graphic advertising and marketing industry in Chattanooga.

Glass business gets new owners

Don Anderson and Rick Israel are now the owners of the Glass Doctor of Chattanooga franchise.

Their business offers residential, auto and commercial glass services in Hamilton and Bradley counties in Tennessee as well as Catoosa and Walker counties in Georgia.

The new owners bought the business from Michael Hailey.

Glass Doctor of Chattanooga is at 5500 Hixson Pike.

Southside hotel receives award

The Chattanoogan hotel has received the 2008 Successful Meetings “Pinacle Award” from readers of that magazine.

It is the second consecutive year that The Chattanoogan has received the honor.

“We are very excited to receive the 2008 Pinnacle Award,” said Tom Cupo, general manager of The Chattanoogan. “It recognizes our outstanding team of hospitality professionals that works every day to provide the most productive meeting experience possible for our customers.”

The Pinnacle Awards recognize reader/planner selections of the leading meeting destination venues and support organizations, a news release said.
