* Baylor: Sam Williams was held out of the end zone but still rushed 34 times for 147 yard in the Red Raiders’ 24-3 loss to McCallie.

* Bledsoe County: Dylan Blaylock intercepted a pass and returned it 25 yards for his team’s only score in a 45-7 loss to Boyd-Buchanan.

* Brainerd: Darius Chalk tied the Panthers’ game with Red Bank with a 6-yard run but it was their only score in a 33-6 loss to the Lions.

* Boyd-Buchanan: Ben Beasley scored twice and picked up 150 yards on 15 carries in the Buccaneers’ 45-7 Region 3-2A win over Bledsoe County.

* Bradley Central: Courtney Lindsey suffered an ankle injury but not before gaining 106 yards on 11 carries in the Bears’ 31-3 loss to Ooltewah.

* Cleveland: Jamial King caught touchdown passes of 34 and 25 yards in the Blue Raiders’ 48-7 win over Central.

* Dade County: Tyler Wright got Dade’s lone touchdown in the team’s 47-7 loss to Adairsville.

* David Brainerd: Will Keeber had six catches for 139 yards including a 52-yard TD but the Wildcats lost to Silverdale 47-19.

* East Ridge: Gunner Miller, playing linebacker, defensive end and safety, had 14 tackles but the Pioneers fell to McMinn Central 17-16.

* Gordon Lee: Jacob Groce ran for 140 yards and all three scores in the Trojans’ 20-13 victory over Trion.

* Grace Academy: Josh Blake threw five TD passes and ran 91 yards on eight carries with another TD in the Golden Eagles’ 45-14 win over Lookout Valley.

* Grundy County: Jon Nolan scored a TD and rushed for 102 yards on 11 carries but the Yellowjackets fell to Meigs County 33-13.

* Hixson: J.O. Owens scored twice in the Wildcats’ methodical 24-7 victory over stubborn White County.

* Howard: Michael Bryant scored the Tigers’ first TD, set up two others and passed for another as the Hustlin’ Tigers knocked off previously unbeaten Polk County 28-26. Bryant finished with 14 completions in 21 attempts for 238 yards with no interceptions.

* LaFayette: Josh Morgan had a five-TD night, connecting with four different receivers for scores while completing 14 of 18 passes for 280 yards in the Ramblers’ 54-3 victory over Heritage.

* Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe: Cody Commons ran for one touchdown and passed for two more but the Warriors fell to rival Ridgeland 28-20.

* Lookout Valley: Tayvaughn Wynn scored one of the Yellow Jackets’ two TDs and rushed for 62 yards in a 45-14 loss to Grace Academy.

* Marion County: Chris Martin completed only five of 15 passes but three of the completions went for touchdowns – 22, 32 and 14 yards – in the Warriors’ 55-8 victory over Taft Youth Center.

* McCallie: Joey Skogen scored McCallie’s first TD and finished with 186 yards on 20 carries as the Blue Tornado extended its win streak over Baylor with a 24-3 victory.

* McMinn Central: First-year kicker Jamon Godfrey’s 34-yard field goal with 78 seconds remaining lifted the Chargers over East Ridge 17-16 and kept their unbeaten streak intact at 6-0.

* McMinn County: Cy Ables completed 76 percent of his passes (16-21) for 146 yards and two touchdowns as the Cherokees knocked off Oak Ridge 24-21.

* Meigs County: Dylan Neely accounted for three touchdowns – runs of 5 and 38 yards and a pass play that covered 83 yards – in the Tigers’ 33-13 win at Grundy County. Neely had 19 carries for 108 yards to go with the one catch.

* North Jackson: A.J. Matthews had just three carries but scored on two of them and averaged 37 yards per carry as the Chiefs improved to 5-1 with a 46-0 victory over Douglas.

* Ooltewah: Jaquez Smith had 10 tackles in the Owls’ 31-3 win over Bradley Central.

* Polk County: Jared Allen threw two TD passes and ran for another score but the Wildcats saw their unbeaten status crumble in a 28-26 loss to Howard.

* Red Bank: Kelvin Clay caught six passes for 87 yards and a touchdown in the Lions’ 33-6 victory over Brainerd.

* Rhea County: Jacob Swafford scored on a 74-yard pass reception and a 21-yard interception return as the Golden Eagles handled Walker Valley 34-8. Swafford finished the game with four interceptions as Rhea set a school record with seven thefts.

* Ridgeland: Carlan Bowman completed 10 of 11 passes for a touchdown and 198 yards in the Panthers’ 28-20 victory over rival Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.

* Ringgold: Martez Eastland ran for four touchdowns, getting three in the first half, and finished with 201 yards on 19 carries as the Tigers shut out Southeast Whitfield 48-0.

* Sequatchie County: Brennan Wilson’s 26-yard run gave the Indians an early lead over Tyner, which rallied for a 48-6 victory.

* Silverdale Baptist: Edgar Montgomery had his second 200-yard rushing night of the year, picking up 229 yards and scoring three TDs as the Seahawks beat David Brainerd 47-19.

* Soddy-Daisy: Donovan Barnes pulled in three TD receptions and had four catches for 86 yards for the night as the Trojans bested Maryville Heritage 33-6.

* Southeast Whitfield: Carmelo Apodaca ran for 84 yards on 15 carries in a 48-0 loss to Ringgold.

* Trion: Greg Caron kicked two field goals and converted an extra-point try in a 20-3 loss to rival Gordon Lee.

* Tyner: Michael Poarch scored three touchdowns on runs of 37 and 3 yards and an 8-yard pass as the Rams rolled past Sequatchie County 48-6.

* Walker Valley: Brice Sharp had five receptions for 62 yards in the Mustangs’ 34-8 loss at Rhea County.
