Man seriously injured in Collegedale stabbing

Collegedale police are investigating a stabbing that left a man seriously injured this afternoon.

The incident happened before 1:30 p.m. in the RV campground next to the Grindstone Homes trailer park in the 5600 block of Tallant Road, authorities said.

Capt. James Hardeman with the Collegedale Police Department said the victim was bludgeoned with a dumbbell and then stabbed by his roommate in their shared camper.

He said the victim was flown by Life Force helicopter to Erlanger hospital, and the roommate has been taken in for questioning.
