Yoga for Golfers classes offered

Looking to add a few yards to your drive? Try the cow-face posture. Some golfers today are turning to yoga for both an edge in their game and for some relief from soreness the next day.

ClearSpring Yoga on North Market Street will offer a six-class series for men from Oct. 23 through Dec. 4 on Thursdays from 6:30-7:45 p.m.

The classes, taught by golfer and yoga instructor Susan Bryant, can improve your game and reduce risk of injury, according to a news release. Ms. Bryant is a certified Yoga for Golfers teacher.

The yoga classes will incorporate therapeutic postures along with traditional yoga postures. Areas of special interest will be improving core strength, hip flexibility, lower back, torso rotation, hamstrings, breathing and posture.

Call 987-5365 or 266-3539 for more information, or visit clearspringyoga.com.
