Arcade Marketing plans to close part of its Chattanooga operations and cut about 150 jobs, an official said today.

The facility will consolidate some of its print production operations into a facility in Dixon, Ill., later this year, said Paul Carousso, chief financial officer for parent company Visant Corp.

Arcade plans to keep its label product production in the city, he said. About 190 people will continue to work at the East Main Street site, Mr. Carousso said.

“Arcade remains committed to the Chattanooga community, and customer service, technical and certain administrative functions as well as Arcade's label product production will remain in Chattanooga,” the company said.
