The Georgia Bulldogs are No. 7 in the BCS standings, which were released Sunday for the first time this season. The Bulldogs are 6-1 overall, 3-1 in Southeastern Conference play and face the past two national champions the next two weeks with games at LSU and against Florida in Jacksonville.
Texas is No. 1 in the BCS standings, followed by Alabama, Penn State, Oklahoma and Southern California.
