According to Dr. Dee Dee Anderson, assistant vice chancellor and dean of students, 302 girls started recruitment week and 205 pledged on Bid Day.

Members of the Chi Omega sorority welcome new members at the rush at UTC at Patten Chapel on Sunday. New members wore blue shirts and were given new t-shirts after they joined the group.

Dr. Anderson credited the resurgence in rush to two things: increased freshmen enrollment at UTC and good work done by members of UTC’s Panhellenic Council in advertising and promoting the Greek system.
