Bilbrey joins Memorial practice

Dr. Julie M. Bilbrey, who specializes in family practice, has joined Soddy-Daisy Medical Center, an affiliate of Memorial Health Partners.

She graduated fromMount Vernon Nazarene College in Mount Vernon, Ohio, and earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She completed her residency in family medicine through the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

The Soddy-Daisy Medical Center is at 210 Walmart Drive in Soddy-Daisy. Memorial Health Partners is a regional physician group.

CBL promotes Wade to vice president

Justice Wade has been promoted to vice president-development leasing by CBL & Associates Properties Inc., the Chattanooga-based shopping mall owner and developer.

He will oversee the development leasing division which is responsible for the leasing of CBL’s active new development that includes four major projects that will open in 2009. The team is a division of CBL’s corporate leasing department led by Howard Grody, senior vice president-leasing, along with Jan Wills, vice president-mall leasing, and John Waller, vice president-mall leasing.

Mr. Wade joined CBL in November 2002 as a senior leasing manager.

Engineer Pickett earns certification

W. Phillip Pickett, a professional engineer who is president of Advanced Energy Engineering & Design Inc., has been designated as a Certified Green Building Engineer by the Association of Energy Engineers.

AEED is an energy engineering and design firm engaged in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design services as well as providing energy services such as facility audits, strategic energy plans, facility management and plant engineering. It is located at 408 McCallie Ave.

CRI wins ShoreTel excellence honor

Communications Resources Inc., a Chattanooga-based communications business, won the 2008 ShoreTel Circle of Excellence award at a conference in Las Vegas. The award salutes the local firm as one of the top ShoreTel channel partners.

Dorsey named to post at hotel

Lance Dorsey has been named director of facilities for The Chattanoogan hotel, located in the Southside. He will be responsible for overall operations and security.

Mr. Dorsey previously served as director of facilities for Virginia Crossings Resort in Richmond.
