Chattanooga: Corporate sponsors named for electric shuttles

The Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority announced today that seven sponsors have committed for advertising on downtown electric shuttle exteriors.

The sponsors include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, the Tennessee Aquarium, the Chattanooga Lookouts, Republic Parking, Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, Coca-Cola and the Lookout Mountain attractions (Rock City, Ruby Falls and the Incline Railway), officials said.

The sponsorship will bring a total of $160,000 in new annual revenue, CARTA officials said. Currently, there are 15 total shuttles in the downtown fleet.
