I LOVE my job at Optimum Staffing!
Before I came to Optimum, I managed medical offices and I was used to “having my head rolled” pretty much daily. But now, that’s all changed. The reason I love my job at Optimum cannot be narrowed down to one thing. There are several reasons. The first and most important reason is the freedom to openly announce my faith in God. So many businesses today are fearful of letting their employees openly discuss their Christian beliefs. I believe a faith-filled employee is a better employee and definitely a happier employee if they are allowed to express their love of God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. At Optimum, not only are we allowed to do so but we are encouraged to profess our faith and to pray with and for one another.
The second reason is the manager we have here at the Dayton Branch. John has been a wonderful addition to our branch. Before he came on board, we were struggling with a very stressful, and sometimes hostile, environment. John has brought structure and respect to us. He lets us work on our own with faith in our abilities to complete our tasks. He communicates with us and lets us know how much he appreciates our efforts. He works along side of us instead of against us and that is such a blessing. We could not ask for a better leader for our branch.
The third reason is my co-worker Brad - he has been so helpful and friendly to me since the from day I came to work here and he has been a positive influence in my life both here at work and outside work as well. I am lucky to be able to count him as a co-worker and as a friend. He is like family to me (the little brother I never had).
That brings me to the last big reason I love my job and that is the sense of family. At Optimum, we all strive to work together as a team, pretty much the same way a family works together. In times of trouble, everyone seems to pull together to see things through. I have never had a job where that is the case. Jeannie (our CEO) has such a strong sense of faith, family and togetherness and that strength has made us the “Family” we are here at Optimum. I have never had a boss quite like her. She is definitely “one in a million’ and we all need to count our blessings for that.
So, “Why do I love my job?” Faith, Respect, Teamwork and Family… Wow!!! What a combination!!!
