* Location: Adjacent to Emerald Bay subdivision in Soddy-Daisy

* Status: Fourteen homes are occupied; 21 homes are completed or nearly completed. Several lots and homes have been sold in the past month, Mr. McClure said. Three buyers have moved into homes in the past month.

SUBDIVISION FEATURES

* Playground: Barrington Pointe has a playground and pavilion area overlooking a lake. The playground will be upgraded soon, Mr. McClure said.

* Lakes: The development has 2-acre, 7-acre and 10-acre lakes. Sixty homes will have backyards facing the lakes.

* Subdivision amenities: Mountain views; sidewalks; sewer; custom-designed lighted mailboxes and street signs; half-acre to 1-acre lots; a swimming pool is planned.

* Location: The subdivision is convenient to Soddy-Daisy; Spring City, Tenn.; and downtown Chattanooga, as well as nearby lakes, Mr. McClure said. Several homes have been sold to workers at the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Watts Bar plant, he said.

* Entertainment center: One house listed for $420,000 has a home theater with a Blu-ray movie player, 120-inch screen television with projector and leather couch. The home’s $6,500 theater system is being offered as an incentive at no additional cost, Mr. McClure said.
