A busy week for Phil and his friends

“It is GMA (Gospel Music Association) Week here in Nashville, and wow have I been busy. I’ll be presenting at the Dove awards Thursday night, aired on the Gospel Music Channel. I will, of course, be rooting for one of my best friends, Chris Sligh, who is up for new artist of the year! Tonight I have a showcase/ listening party for my upcoming CD “Into the Light” due out Aug. 25. Since I’ll be rocking out to my new music and unable to watch “American Idol” live, I’ll be a few hours late in getting you my Idol blog.  Don’t worry ... I’ll have it waiting for me on my DVR and I’ll watch and write as soon as I get home. Make sure to check back first thing in the morning!”
