Where: Serendipity Delights, 3510 Dayton Blvd.

What: Quiche Lorraine has always been a ladies’ luncheon dish, but at this popular Red Bank restaurant, the men love it, too, said owner Judy Smith. “It’s thick and hearty but not too heavy,” she said. The quiche is made in the traditional manner with real cream, eggs, bacon, green onion and mozzarella and cheddar cheeses baked in a flaky crust. It’s served for both breakfast and lunch, always ready at 9 a.m., Mrs. Smith said. It comes with a salad at lunch, but you may want to try it with the fruit medley, a muffin or cinnamon roll at breakfast.

Price: $6.79 (comes with garden salad).

Hours: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

Phone: 875-3477.
