A school resource officer at East Ridge Middle School has been placed on administrative leave with pay.
Deputy Jeff Baker was placed on leave after an investigation into allegations of misconduct involving him, said Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson in a news release.
Deputy Baker will stay on leave pending the conclusion of criminal and internal affairs investigations.
The investigation was initiated after the sheriff’s office received information from the East Ridge Police Department, Ms. Atkinson said.
