My name is Nina Earvin and I am the Crisis Coordinator for Bradford Health Services. I have been truly blessed to have a job that I love. I have been working in the field of substance abuse for 16 years, 8 years of which have been spent with Bradford Health Services. I have the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. I am able to see the gift of a new life as they grow in their recovery. I am able to use not only my personal strengths and experiences related to recovery, but also, I am fortunate to be one of the first people they come to for help. On the front end, I offer assistance through support, encouragement, and options for treatment. I also have the privilege of seeing that person through their recovery process, as I facilitate our continuing care support groups 3 times weekly for both adults and adolescents. It is so rewarding to see their growth from one who feels hopeless and helpless to having hope, dignity, and respect for life. I feel blessed and honored to know the people that I come in contact with on a daily basis. Being a Crisis Coordinator allows me to be an active channel for a solution with people who start out looking for help, and end up with a solid foundation of recovery with a new path for life. In addition to my personal assets and experience, Bradford Health Services has also encouraged me to further my education that I may better continue to help those in need of my services. It is quite awesome how it all comes together and works: from a higher power, to an organization like Bradford Health Services, our employees, myself, and to the patient. All with one common purpose – to HELP provide HOPE for a lifetime! I am in awe that I play a role in this “miracle” we call RECOVERY!
