“I chose these clothes because the colors are monochromatic, and they connect. Browns are my favorite tones. I mixed in bright yellow, and the yellow stone stripe on the shoes ties them together. I like stone. I like metallics. Imported jewely is a great source of things that’ll pop. Jeans are kind of funny. I don’t want them to be too dark or too light but to pop a little bit. I got the jacket at Rock/Creek — it’s kids. I tell ya — kids is the way to go. Get large kids’ clothing, and you can get a great deal. The bag I got at World Market. They also have great jewelry. I try and go on a budget but find some things that are different and unique but are easily relatable to one’s wardrobe. You get the basics, like a brown tank top or brown shoes, covered but then have a few pieces that can tie things in or you can add a bright color one day.’’
