Frank Reed Jr.
Bonnie Frank Reed Jr., 83 of Harrison, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 2, 2009.
He was born May 16, 1926 in Rome, Ga., to the late Hazel and Bonnie Frank “B.F.” Reed Sr.
Mr. Reed was a member of New Haven Baptist Church and the Auditorium Sunday School Class. He was a U.S. World War II Navy veteran.
He retired from DuPont after 30 years of service. He was a member of DuPont’s Men’s Fastpitch Softball Team and was well known for his defensive play at second base.
His brother, Eugene Reed preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Reed; children, Frank Reed III and his wife, Denise, Bobby Reed and his wife, Pam, all of Ooltewah, Cheryl Ridge and her husband, Bill, of Knoxville; stepchildren, Thomas Cowart and his wife, Melanie, of Hixson, Tammy Carter and her husband, Jerry, of Navarre, Fla.; sisters, Elizabeth Davis, of Fort Oglethorpe, Mary Ann Prichard and her husband, James, of Hixson, Carol Brooks, of Nashville, Nancy Coleman and her husband, Danny, of Hixson; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Margie Ashworth Stone, 81, of Lookout Valley, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at the Hospice Unit of Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Wauhatchie United Methodist Church and was retired from the state of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. “Jake” Stone and mother, Louise McShea; and father, Carl Ashworth; and sister, Edna Frank.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Doyle) Lewis and her son, James Carl Stone; two grandchildren, Melissa Lewis Striker and Jeff (Beth) Lewis; four great-grandchildren, Avery Striker, Ellie Lewis, Megan Lewis and Dylan Lewis; and niece, Shelia Maier and family.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 5, at 2 p.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery in St. Elmo.

David Sutton
David Lewis Sutton, 67, of Harrison, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
He was predeceased by his father and mother, George Lewis and Vina Elizabeth Sutton.
David graduated from Kirkman High School in 1958 and then attended Cookeville University. He served in the Air Force for eight years. He was employed by Sears for 15 years, established his own local business for 20 years and later he was also a postman. He was a benevolent person who donated his life to helping children and those who had lost their way in life. He was active in scouting, the Snow Hill community, children ministries at his church, and the juvenile detention homes. He touched many lives in his church and with his outdoor ministries at Harrison Bay Park. He was an avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the TVCC and loved canoeing, biking, hiking and fishing with his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Juanita Sutton; children, Vina Davis, William Sutton, Jonathon Sutton and Linda Stone, all of Chattanooga. Grandchildren, Jacob Davis, Hannah Stone and Sydney Stone.
Visitation will be at Lakewood Baptist Church from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, July 5.
The Rev. Dr. David Bragg will conduct the service at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 5.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2 p.m. Monday, July 6.

Rich Lindsay
DAYTON — Richard Charles “Rich” Lindsay, 61, died Monday, June 29, 2009, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton.
Rich was born Dec. 12, 1947, in Grand Forks, N.D. Rich was raised in Tuscola, Ill., and then lived in Rockford, Ill., Lakeville, Minn., Byron, Ill., and Dunwoody, Ga., until moving to Dayton, last year.
Rich was Director of Projects at WeldTech Services Corporation with 43 years of experience in the Nuclear Industry, Nuclear Power Plant Construction and Maintenance, Co-Gen Plant Construction, and Gas Pipeline Construction. Rich was a member of the United Association (UA) of Plumbers and Pipefitters, a retired member of UA Local 23, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Local 627 in Phoenix, Ariz. Rich touched the lives of many people that he worked with through the years, and was a successful leader and manager in all of his endeavors.
Rich is survived by his wife Michele Baker-Lindsay, of Dayton; mother, Verna (Hoverson) Lindsay, of Grand Forks, N.D.; daughter, Noreen Lindsay, of Lynchburg, Va.; son, Ken (Dawn) Lindsay, of Loves Park, Ill.; granddaughter, Stephanie Lindsay, of Loves Park, Ill.; sisters, Jeannette Lindsay, of Arvada, Colo., and Barb Lindsay, of Grand Forks, N.D.; brothers, Greg “Termite” Lindsay, of Rockford, Ill., and John “Jake” (Debbie) Lindsay, of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; and his beloved dog, Sasha.
Rich was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Lindsay.

DAWSON — Terecia Satterfield, 46, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at DeKalb Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. CDT from Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Liberty Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.
