CANCELLATION

The Hunter Museum of American Art has canceled its Pops on the River Terrace due to low participation. The event was scheduled Saturday during the Pops on the River concert at Coolidge Park. Full refunds will be issued for those who have already purchased tickets. Call 267-0968.

ART DEMONSTRATION -- River Gallery, 400 E. Second St., 2-4 p.m., free, artist Lori Putnam demonstrates her painting technique. 265-5033.

CANOE FLOAT -- South Cumberland State Park, Highway 41, Monteagle, Tenn., 6 p.m. CDT, meet ranger at Grundy Lakes Beach for guided canoe tour of lake, safety jackets supplied, no experience necessary, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 931-924-2980.

EAST RIDGE GOSPEL -- East Ridge Christian Church, 1514 Rebecca Drive, 7 p.m., Sing for the King, Eva Pelfrey, David Crittenden and Millie Freeman featured. 364-0899.
