Enrichment opportunities
* AMG International will sponsor a Perspectives course Aug. 16 through Dec. 6 at Woodland Park Baptist Church, 6735 Standifer Gap Road. The course, which has more than 80,000 graduates worldwide, can be audited, taken for a certificate of completion or for college credit. * First Baptist Church of Dalton, 311 N. Thornton Ave., will host "World Vision Experience: AIDS -- Step Into Africa," a multimedia, interactive exhibit illustrating the devastation of the pandemic on children in the sub-Saharan part of the continent, from Sunday, July 12, through Sunday, July 19. The 3,600-square-foot exhibit is part of a 40-city tour in 2009. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Monday and Wednesday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
