It was the perfect end for America's 233rd birthday.

After a day of sunshine, fun picnicking and toe-tapping music, Chattanoogans watched fireworks light up the river after the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera orchestra performed its annual Pops on the River celebration.

The Dismembered Tennesseans added a folksy twist to program and father-daughter duo Tim and Sara King brought favorite songs from Disney animated films for a true family flavor.
