Opened in May of 2004, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga's ReStore specializes in selling new and recycled building materials at 50% - 75% off retail price.
Stocked entirely with materials donated by businesses, contractors, and members of the community, the ReStore makes these needed items available to the public at prices far below retail.
The store stocks a variety of items that changes daily. Hardware, light fixtures, tile, doors, windows, lumber, appliances, cabinets and furniture are some of the many items that are available.
The ReStore recycles usable materials that would otherwise go into landfills. It is a great way to be "Green," receive a tax write off, and help our community by building homes.
Weekday volunteers are always needed. Positions include Mr. Fixit, Donation Processor, Pricing Team, Data Entry and Adopt-an-Area.
