The man shot by his ex-wife on Signal Mountain last week came to court this morning in a wheelchair.
Testifying through tears, Dr. Terrance “Terry” Loher pleaded with a judge not to allow her to make bail.
Dr. Loher said he was afraid that his ex-wife, Tina Loher, would “finish the job” if she got out of jail. Judge Ronald Durby increased Ms. Loher’s bond to $600,000 and bound charges of attempted first degree murder and reckless endangerment over to the Hamilton County grand jury.
She is charged with shooting her ex-husband at Signal Mountain Chiropractic Clinic a week ago. She took her two daughters, aged 5 and 7 with her, and left them in the parking lot when she went into the clinic, officials said.
During the attack, Dr. Loher sustained a gunshot to his lower left groin area, hitting his femoral artery, according to Hamilton County authorities and an affidavit filed in Hamilton County General Sessions Court.

"gunshot to his lower left groin area"
Wow. I'd rather have ten men mad at me than one irate ex-wife.
The Dr. is very fortunate to be alive, because the femoral artery can lose enough blood in a minute or two to kill a person.
I hope they work things out.
Dr. Loher is such an asset to the communtiy of Signal Mountain. We treasure his presence here. He is one of the nicest people in the world.
It sure would be a shame for that women to be able to make bail what so ever. Not only was she going to kill him and left those 2 little girls in the car but she also endangered the the lives of his secretary and the patient in his office.
