Police raid pot house next to day care

Metro police say a tip led them to a couple who were apparently growing marijuana in their home, right next to a Hermitage day care center .

Police seized 198 marijuana plants from the Lebanon Pike home of Steve Hooven, 38, and Michelle Campbell, 28. They were charged Friday with manufacturing marijuana.

Hooven, who has previous convictions for felony marijuana possession, unlawful weapons possession and driving under the influence, was arrested.

Campbell’s arrest was delayed to give her time to make arrangements for her young daughter, who was living in the house, according to the police report.

Oh my, the harm done to the kids in the day care center! Did they see or smell illegal plants growing in the house right next door? Bad, bad folks, gardening indoors!! Yes, keep Campbell away from her daughter - the child was subjected to the sight and smell of an evil plant - something that would harm her much more than losing her mother.
