Gov. Phil Bredesen appointed 135 men and women to 64 state boards and commissions Wednesday, according to the Office of the Governor Communications Staff Assistant Leigh Castleman.
Names include:
* Kenny C. Smith, Chattanooga, was appointed to the State Workforce Development Board
* Beverly J. Cosley, Chattanooga, was appointed to the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth
* Roger D. Gibbens, Chattanooga, was appointed to the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities
* Paul McDaniel, Chattanooga, was appointed to the Tennessee Human Rights Commission
* Cynthia Jaggers, Chattanooga, was appointed to the Tennessee Massage Licensure Board
* Winston Kyle Hauth, Soddy-Daisy, was appointed in the Advisory Council for the Education of Students with Disabilities
* Edwin Groce Vance, Soddy-Daisy, was appointed to the Board of Boiler Rules
* James Benjamin Hill, Jr., Oak Ridge, was appointed to the Compliance Advisory Panel
* Robert J. Benning, Oak Ridge, was appointed to the Mental Health and Development Disabilities Statewide Planning and Policy Council
* James Milton Barnes, Oak Ridge, was appointed to the State Workforce Development Board
