Rev. Jesse Jackson tours VW

The Rev. Jesse Jackson said Tuesday that Volkswagen has made a commitment “of inclusion for women and people of color.”

He said he toured the plant site at Enterprise South this morning as part of his visit with Chattanooga’s new automaker.

The Rev. Jackson’s visit to Chattanooga is part of a scheduled meetings with all of the automakers, said a spokeswoman from Rainbow/PUSH Coalition.

I wonder how much money they had to promise to contribute to his "coalition" for him to leave them alone. That's been his pattern in the past.

I am quite sure he was here to finagle some sort of "grant" (read: hush money) from Volkswagen as a payoff not to disrupt their operations with race riots or labor disturbances. That's the way the Reverend operates....

There is no need for him to be here. He is part of the problem as to why we still have race issues in our country today.

I am so happy the Rev.Jessie Jackson came in-town to speak on part of the African American community. Had he not been here we probably been less thought about! And far as the other comments he is not the only man to have done anything wrong. All of us fall short of God! Welcome Rev.Jackson and I know this will not be your last visit. We need you and your services.
