Chattanooga: Two men charged with soliciting minors for sex

Chattanooga police arrested two men this week on charges they tried to arrange sexual trysts with minors.

Johnny Penny Jr. and Brent Weaver were arrested in separate incidents after each allegedly used a computer to solicit a minor for sex, said Sgt. Jerri Weary, police spokeswoman.

Both men were charged with solicitation and sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means after traveling to Chattanooga from Rossville, Ga., and Ten Mile, Tenn., respectively, to meet the juveniles.
