Florida fugitive caught in Soddy-Daisy

A man wanted in Orlando, Fla., for attempted first-degree murder was arrested today in Hamilton County.

Sheriff’s deputies and Soddy-Daisy police officers took John M. Brown, 43, into custody today in the 9800 block of Gannaway Street in Soddy-Daisy, said sheriff’s department spokeswoman Janice Atkinson in a news release.

Mr. Brown also was wanted in Hamilton County for vandalism over $500 and domestic assault.
