Pet Socialization: Spend one-on-one time with shelter animals to exercise, play with and love them.

MCKAMEY ANIMAL CARE & ADOPTION CENTER
Cat and Dog Caregivers:
Socialize with animals, show them love and attention, and exercise puppies or older dogs in play yards.
Fostering: Open your home to a dog, cat, kittens or pups for an overnight stay or until adopted.
Transportation: Take animals to adoption centers, rescue organizations or other centers that have made requests for particular breeds.

NATIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR MUSEUM OF MILITARY HISTORY

Ombudsmen: Five people needed to learn about nursing home and assisted-living rules, regulations and rights in Ombudsman program. Ombudsmen will visit facilities and advocate for residents. 755-2877.
RE:START — THE CENTER FOR ADULT EDUCATION
Tutors: Work one-on-one with nonreaders, training included in Laubach method; work with adult students who need extra help in math and reading; assist/monitor students in the computer lab, training included.
Office Assistant/ Receptionist: Answer phones greet visitors, assist tutors and students, 5-8 p.m. Thursdays. 855-4443.

Custodial Help: Maintain cleanliness of food pantry and other areas.
Fundraising Assistants:
Help organize fundraising events, help with office duties, prepare mailings, process registrations, set up on event day.
Office Assistants: Help make copies, compile reports, create spread sheets, assist with large mailings and filing. Interpersonal/telephone skills are a plus.
Nurses: Needed two to four hours a week to take blood pressure readings and answer medical questions for shoppers and clients.
Substitute Receptionist:
Must possess excellent interpersonal/telephone skills.
SISKIN HOSPITAL FOR PHYSICAL REHABILITATION
Front-Desk Receptionist:
Greet visitors, answer phones direct vendors and guests throughout campus, perform light clerical duties. Some clinical or rehabilitation background is preferred. Volunteer for a minimum of eight hours per week and receive free use of hospital’s fitness center. Note: Applicants are required to provide two letters of recommendation. Weekly Work Group:
Volunteers needed 1:30-4 p.m. each Thursday at Pot Point Cabin for invasive plant removal, trail maintenance, trash pickup along trails.
