University of Tennessee at Chattanooga pitcher Brooke Loudermilk won her second game of the day to lead the Lady Mocs to a 2-0 win over Furman on Thursday in the Southern Conference softball tournament.
Loudermilk pitched 5 1/3 innings of three-hit ball, striking out six to bring her total to 13 strikouts for the day. Loudermilk also earned the win earlier Thursday in the Lady Mocs' 2-1 win over Western Carolina.
Tiffany Baker got UTC on the board in the fourth inning, and Tia Blosser added an insurance run with a pinch-hit RBI single in the seventh inning.
UTC will be back in action Friday at 3 p.m. against the winner of Thursday's late game between Appalachian State and Samford.
