New Music Rundown from Studio ‘99

Sure, you can keep your Hootie and the Blowfish albums and your Led Zeppelin in the car for summertime jamming, but why not delve deeper and search for some new music to be the soundtrack of your Summer. Here's where I come In. This week's MUSICcast features some great new tunes from some excellent new albums... and one older album that was recently reissued.

Here's the line-up:

My Timing is Off - Eels

Test the Sound - Mr. Scruff

One Wing - Wilco

Sleepyhead - Passion Pit

Drunken Maria - The Monks

Strictly Rule - Vetiver

Belated Promise Ring - Iron and wine

Listen here.

Some shows:

Hot Graves, Screaming Females, and Gravebound are at Anarchtica tonight. The show is at 9pm. All donations go to the touring bands.

How I Became the Bomb, Coral Castles, The Constellations and more are at JJ's Bohemia tonight. The show is at 9pm. Taxicab Racers, Moonlight Bride, Brenn and Dj Talk are performing on Saturday. Sunday is Comedy Night.

FLY BY RADIO is at Rhythm and Brews tonight. The show is at 10pm.

Have a great weekend.
