Derrick resigns at McMinn Central

Brandon Derrick has resigned as head football coach at McMinn Central High School.

After three seasons as the Chargers’ coach, Derrick plans to take a job at Glynn Academy on St. Simon’s Island in Georgia.

Derrick, a McMinn Central graduate, directed the teams to a record of 21-11, including a region championship in 2007.
