This irresponsible report makes it sound like all truckers are dangerous criminals who have no family or responsibilities just visit prostitutes and wreak havoc on the road. The police officer said "TRUCK DRIVERS meet prostitutes ect.." not a small number of truck drivers or some truck drivers meet prostitutes. This report demonizes professional drivers everywhere who are just trying to make a living to provide for their family. I think its extremely unfair and irresponsible to single out one career and one group of people the way this report did, and frankly Lt. Tim Carroll and the editor of this story should be reprimanded.
P.S. There are roughly 3.4 million truck drivers in america, how many confirmed cases of "truck driving serial killers" are there? Isn't driving a truck a hard enough profession without this stereotype to go along with it?
