WOULD SOMEONE please explain why the General Welfare Clause of our Constitution does not apply to taxpayers?

HOW MANY times do you have to be told “separation of church and state” is NOT in the United States Constitution?

PUBLIC OPTION? Our VA system and the availability of H1N1 shots at the public health departments are examples of government-run health care.

THE TROUBLE with the Obama folks isn’t that they are ignorant, it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so!

POLITICIANS SHOULD be like NASCAR drivers — wear the names of their sponsors on their suits. Then we would know who is financially supporting them.

I PROPOSE a law: Congressmen and senators must take an oath that they have read the entire bill or they cannot vote on it.

IT IS A GOOD thing Obama, Pelosi and Biden are not Pinocchio. Their noses would be longer than the Great Wall.

THE PEOPLE who can’t afford health insurance now certainly can’t afford paying a penalty for not having insurance.

THE BIGGEST LIE: “Your call is important to us. Please leave your name and number. We will return your call ASAP.” Two weeks and counting!

INCREASE PROPERTY taxes? No need to, just increase property values. Sounds better and the income is the same. Sneaky, huh?

CITY COUNCIL members who voted for the annexation should have their pictures on the front page of the newspaper as headline news.
