Chattanooga: Allied Arts gets $100,000 NEA grant to protect local arts jobs

Allied Arts of Greater Chattanooga has been awarded $100,000 to preserve jobs within the local arts agencies from the National Endowment for the Arts, according to a news release.

Allied Arts is one of 16 arts organizations in the nation granted the funding, which must be used solely for protecting and preserving jobs in the nonprofit arts sector. The stimulus funds are available as a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and distributed through the NEA.
