Hamilton County Residents Against Annexation filed its second round of lawsuits today in its effort to stop the city of Chattanooga from taking more areas.
The anti-annexation group filed lawsuits to stop annexation in an area east of Morris Hill Road and a mostly commercial area off Hunter Road in Ooltewah.
Bill Reesor, board member for Hamilton County Residents Against Annexation, said the group tracked down plaintiffs this week for the residential areas and commercial areas.
“We don’t want to leave out anybody,” Mr. Reesor said.
The group filed a lawsuit last week to stop annexation of the Ramsgate development and an area off Big Ridge Road.
