Power grabbers taking freedom

"Sifting through the muck to see what is real" is a freedom our Founding Fathers included in our Constitution with great conviction.

Freedom of the press was considered essential to keep check on the government.

Freedom of speech is perhaps our greatest right as Americans. This freedom is under attack by the Obama administration.

They know they must control the media in order to push their agendas.

Contrary to popular belief by some, the people of this country are not stupid. They know there's something wrong when someone admires Mao Zedong, who murdered 70 million people while he grabbed power in China.

They know the administration plans to tax radio stations out of business, seize control of the Internet to regulate content, use taxpayers' money to display "art works" that support their agendas, and marginalize those in the news media who dare to question their activities with actual video of their statements.

The people of this country are going to find out exactly what is real if they sit back and let this group of power grabbers take our freedom away. Take a look at Detroit to see what a government-controlled state looks like. They want some Obama money.

Liberals fail to see a lot

1. Why can't liberals see that President Obama's stimulus has totally failed to keep his promise of low unemployment -- while he made bailouts so much greater than what Bush started?

2. Why can't liberals understand the Constitution guarantees free exercise of religion, not freedom from religion?

3. Why are liberals so all-fired intent on killing unborn babies -- thinking only they can determine when life begins?

4. Why can't liberals understand how stupid it sounds to call anyone a racist just for opposing the polices of Obama?

5. Why do liberals close their eyes to any science that tends to show climate change is not caused by man -- while continuing to worship at the altar of Al Gore and drink the Kool-Aid served by the high priest of global warming?

CLINTON GRANT

Will pay cut apply to power rates?

Let me be the first to offer condolences to Bill Campbell, TVA's senior vice president of something or another, who is having his annual salary reduced to a mere $469,000, with, of course, the probability of an additional 45 percent bonus ($211,050) for doing whatever it is he does better. I'm sure I'll see the $24,218 annual savings (plus probable bonus) applied as a reduction on my monthly electric bill. Yeah, right!

I see Mr. Cavin is in the "muck" so far up past his eyeballs, there's no way he will ever see what's real in this country. I see the "good" citizens of this country allowing another county with innocent women, children, babies (and yes, probably quite a few unborn ones) to be bombed unmercifully because Bush/Cheney decided they wanted Iraq's oil. And where was your outcry when the Bush cabal started listening to our phone calls, reading our e-mails, coming into our bedrooms to see if our sex life was o.k. by their somewhat dubious standards, and even going into someone's hospital room to come between a wife and a husband? I say your feeble indignant cry of "foul" is pretty pathetic after what this country went through for the last 8 years of terror.

Oh, and did I mention paying off their buds on their way out the door to the tune of $1 Trillion dollars, no strings attached.

Thank you, Anniebell. Thank you Anniebell.

And why can't Clinton Grant free himself from ignorance, superstition and prejudice if he's got brains enough to use a web browser?
