WTCI's Family Day is Sunday

WTCI has planned three hours of family fun Sunday afternoon for its annual Family Day event at the PBS station's studio, 7540 Bonnyshire Drive.

From noon to 3 p.m., kids can meet Clifford and other PBS characters, see themselves on camera, hear storytellers from Read 20, have their faces painted, check out a fire truck and meet firefighters from the Chattanooga Fire Department.

Additionally, WTCI is sponsoring a book drive during the event to support Battle Academy.

Any child who donates a used book at Family Day may pick out a new book from the Ready to Learn library.

A $1 donation per person is suggested to those attending Family Day.

For more information about the day, check the station's Web site at www.wtciTV.org or call 702-7800.
