Sunrise Meadows offers convenience, comfort

* Development name: Sunrise Meadows

* Location: In Catoosa County, less than a mile south of East Ridge.

* Status: This 198-home development is in its fourth and final phase. Three homes have been finished out of a planned 27, and several are currently under construction.

* Prices: Range from $140,000 to $215,000

* Developers: John C. Whitmire, James M. Anderson and Bernard Brown

* Builders: James M. Anderson and John C. Whitmire

* Open house: Today from 2 to 5 p.m.

* Home features: Homes in this neighborhood have stacked stone fireplaces, flat screen TVs, refrigerators, stainless steel appliances, solid surface countertops, 10-foot ceilings throughout, covered front and back porches, full brick exteriors, decorative trim, energy efficient homes with utility bills estimated to be about $100 a month.

* Other amenities: Sunrise Meadows has more than three miles of sidewalks, sodded yards, and lighted brick mailboxes, two-car garages with storage above them. Homes also have open floor plans with jetted tubs in the master bath and large closets.

* Floor plans: Homes range from 1,400 to 1,600 square feet and all have three bedrooms and two baths.

* Homeowners association: Not yet formed, but fees are expected to be between $80 and $100 a month.
