Chattanooga: Man sought in Lakesite vehicle burglaries

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office officials are asking for help finding a man wanted in connection with several burglaries from vehicles in the Lakesite community.

On Oct. 22, a man took electronic equipment, handbags, a set of golf clubs and a rifle that later were pawned at an area pawn shop, spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said in a news release.

The man is between 5 feet, 4 inches and 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs between 130 and 145 pounds. He has light-colored hair and was wearing a gray shirt with red sleeves and the number 6 displayed.

The pawn shop clerk told police he had a star tattoo near his left elbow, Ms. Atkinson said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office criminal division at 209-8940.
