A tractor-trailer fire at the Welcome Center on Interstate 24 Eastbound has forced the closure of those lanes on the interstate.
Chattanooga firefighters are on the scene and officials say it the interstate is not expected to be open to traffic until around 10 a.m.
Traffic was being rerouted off exit 161 and the interstate was closed at exit 169 at Wildwood.
