Chattanooga police responded to a shooting at 2800 Fourth Ave. shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was taken to Parkridge Hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, said police spokeswoman Lt. Kim Noorbergen.
That shooting was the third of the day. The first was at 2100 Foust St. around 1:50 p.m. Official say a black male reported being shot three or four black males who were in a small black vehicle.
A short while later, a second shooting happened at 1268 Grove St. where a black male reported he was shot in the hand by three or four black males in a small black vehicle.
All of the injuries are believed to be non life-threatening and investigators are working the case to see if the shootings are related.
