Chattanooga still has a shot at continuing to host the FCS national championship game. The NCAA informed Greater Chattanooga Sports & Events Committee president Scott Smith on Monday that the city was one of the finalists in the selection process.
The city will host the game for the 13th straight year on Dec. 18 at Finley Stadium. The FCS playoffs get under way on Saturday.
