Lady Mocs up 37-31 at half

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team for 13 first-half points from Shanara Hollinquest and 11 from Michelle Davis, and took a 37-31 lead over Kennesaw State into halftime Friday night at McKenzie Arena.

It's the second game of the day in the two-day DoubleTree Classic. In the first game Friday, Villanova defeated Evansville 56-49.

The Lady Mocs led 34-21 with 3:51 left in the half before the Owls went on a 10-2 run.

Villanova will face the UTC-Kennesaw State winner at 5 p.m. Saturday. The 3 p.m. consolation game will feature Evansville and the Lady Mocs-Owls loser.
