Jefferson Place offers urban, green living

This is one of four contemporary homes being built in the Jefferson Place development on the Southside. Ultimately 11 homes will be built there using Earthcraft environmentally sound products.

Features:

* Amenities: The contemporary Craftsman homes at Jefferson Place are built using Earthcraft standard of environmentally responsible building that includes energy efficient appliances, lights and windows, custom cabinets, granite countertops, nine-foot ceilings, and hardwood floors. The units also are wired for a sound system.

* Other features: The development sits nestled among a row of artist studios and galleries off the newly redeveloped Main Street area on Chattanooga’s Southside. It is within convenient walking distance of shopping and dinning.

* Floor plans: The homes offer a variety of open floor plans with ample storage space and the master bedroom located on the main level. The homes vary in size from about 1,250 square feet to 1,900 square feet.

* Open house: Jefferson Place will hold an open house event next Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in conjunction with the Mainx24 festival.
