Volkswagen gets green honors

Volkswagen AG’s Golf TDI and Audi A3 TDI are among five finalists for Green Car Journal’s 2010 Green Car of the Year.

Other finalists are the Honda Insight, Mercury Milan Hybrid, and Toyota Prius.

The award will be announced at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Dec. 3. It honors environmental leadership in the automobile field and recognizes vehicles readily available to consumers.
