The end result of a six-month narcotics investigation involving the Hamilton and Rhea County Sheriff’s Office narcotics divisions was the arrest of three people charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
A narcotics search warrant was executed Thursday at 14234 Stormer Road in Sale Creek. Detectives recovered a substantial working methamphetamine lab, along with methamphetamine and marijuana, Hamilton County sheriff’s spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said.
There were several children found in the home at the time of the search warrant. The children were taken to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital and were released to the Hamilton County Department of Children Services. The three people charged are:
* Randy Lee Skiles, 40, charged with possession of controlled substance for resale, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, initiating a process intended to result in the manufacture of methamphetamine, reckless endangerment and child abuse.
* Bonnie Renee Walker, 20, charged with possession of controlled substance for resale, criminal conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, promoting the manufacture of methamphetamine, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless endangerment and child abuse.
* Brittney Paige Flippo, 24, charged with possession of controlled substance for resale, criminal conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, promoting the manufacture of methamphetamine, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless endangerment and child abuse.
