U.S. Rep. Zach Wamp, R-Tenn., held a gubernatorial campaign organizational breakfast meeting Saturday for Hamilton County.

Between 85 and 100 people attended, including several elected representatives, said Bubba Ricketts, a co-coordinator.

Rep. Wamp spoke about his efforts for economic development in Hamilton County, and the event raised a large amount of contributions, Mr. Ricketts said.

This was the first organizational meeting for Hamilton County.

The next meeting will be in January, he said.
